The DeLonghi Magnifica Super Automatic is a good instance of an affordable, nicely designed, and nicely constructed espresso and cappuccino maker.

One of the major convenience factors is the fact that the Magnifica was designed to be extremely simple to clean, something that the majority of other espresso machine manufacturers have apparently overlooked. You can very easily pull out the brew group and clean it � and that is very important. When you use oily beans it will clog frequently sometimes leading to rancid flavors. As Champion, he will receive a number of prizes including an Athena Lever 2 Groups Espresso Machine, a trip to Hamburg, Germany to visit the headquarters of Mahlkoenig Grinders, a trip to Brazil sponsored by Café Exports, along with other coffee products and gifts.Energy efficiency marks another key trend. "Our current equipment is energy efficient and can be set to lower the use of energy if the circumstances allow," de Jong said. "We also look at the production of the machines. If we can lower the impact on the environment by changing the way we do things, we'll look for a way to achieve this. We are also very proud to be the first manufacturer who has complete data on the use of materials and the recyclability of our machines. We even have information on what percentage of the materials used is already made from recycled material as our customers increasingly are being asked these things. We are constantly working on this to make sure our customers stay ahead of these developments."
The espresso from the Magnifica is just as good as from Starbucks, and is also very close to what you might find in Italy � not quite, but purchasing your own DeLonghi Magnifica super automatic espresso machine is a lot less expensive than going to Italy for an excellent espresso that has a great crema, is the perfect temperature, and has rich, robust taste.
